Short Biography
Dr. Amir Yari graduated with a Diploma degree in 2008 and participated in the national university entrance exam. His rank was among the top 0.1% of applicants in an exceptionally highly competitive atmosphere. Dr. Amir Yari was accepted into the Dentistry program at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, School of Dentistry which is one of the best dental schools in west Asia. He was awarded a scholarship by the university, completed his credits under the supervision of experienced professors, and graduated with an “A” GPA in 2014 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. His dissertation was in the field of prosthetic dentistry and the result of his research was published in the Journal of Prosthodontics, one the most renowned journals in this field.
After graduation, Dr. Amir Yari started working as a dentist for two years and enriched his experience in the field of dentistry.
In 2016, Dr. Yari participated in the dental residency admission exam. He ranked 8th among over 2,000 applicants. Dr. Amir Yari was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at Tehran University of Medical Sciences which has one of the best dentistry post-graduate programs, and he was awarded full scholarship by the university. During his residency period, he was elected as the chief resident by the program director because of his responsibility and passion. Alongside his efforts in surgical procedures, he was very active in the research programs. His dissertation was about the accuracy of orthognathic surgery. The findings of his work were published in the “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery” journal by Springer publication. Dr. Yari graduated as a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) with an MSc degree in 2021. After graduation, he managed to get full grades in both the theoretical and practical sections of the specialized board exam.
Currently, Dr. Yari is working as a board-certified assistant professor at Kashan University of Medical Sciences, School of Dentistry in three aspects:
- Dr. Amir Yari is a maxillofacial surgeon who uses the most advanced and modern surgical techniques in his practice. He is working in the field of dental implants, jaw bone regeneration, maxillofacial fractures, orthognathic surgery, etc.
- In addition, Dr. Yari is a researcher at the university in the fields of implant dentistry, oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and dental rehabilitation. He has published various manuscripts in international journals and is currently working on different research projects with his research team.
- Finally, Dr. Yari is an educator in the dental school who presents credits related to oral surgery to the dentistry students. He is the program director of the oral and maxillofacial surgery department at the Kashan University of Medical Sciences, School of Dentistry.
